Scene Sounds is a client-side web application. The vast majority of functionality runs entirely within your browser. We collect minimal data:

• No account required — you do not need to register or log in to use Scene Sounds
• No tracking cookies — we do not use advertising or tracking cookies
• No personal data stored on our servers — your saved scenarios are stored in your browser's local storage only
• Contact email — if you email us at info@scenesounds.app, we will retain your email address to respond to your enquiry
• Feedback forms — if you submit feedback via our Google Form, Google's privacy policy applies to that data

3. Local Storage

Scene Sounds uses your browser's local storage to save your custom scenarios and preferences. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not accessible to us or any third party
• Can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser data
• Is not linked to any personal identifier

4. Cookies

Scene Sounds does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics purposes. We may use essential browser storage (local storage, session storage) solely to make the app function correctly — for example, remembering your saved scenarios between sessions.

5. Third Party Services

Scene Sounds may use the following third-party services:

• Google Fonts — we load fonts from Google's CDN. Google may collect limited technical data in accordance with their privacy policy
• GitHub Pages — our app is hosted via GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect standard server access logs
• Google Forms — our optional feedback form is hosted by Google. If you submit feedback, Google's privacy policy applies

We do not sell or share any data with third parties for commercial purposes.

We retain email enquiries for up to 12 months. We do not retain any other personal data. Local storage data on your device persists until you clear it.
